Los Angeles, California, July 16, 2026—BOSS announces exciting updates to its popular lineup of guitar gig bags. Electric and acoustic guitar models have been refreshed with numerous feature improvements, and there’s also a newly added deluxe model for bass guitars. Key updates include thicker padding and improved lower-bout support for enhanced protection, plus reimagined pockets for better organization of gig accessories and more space for carrying larger items, such as a compact BOSS performance pedal. All models also feature soft internal padding and neck rests, durable main handles, straps for over-the-shoulder and backpack-style carrying, and more.
CB-EG25 Electric Guitar Gig Bag
The CB-EG25 delivers a premium experience for players who need maximum instrument protection with the convenience of a gig bag. Impact panels are integrated into the front and back to create a semi-rigid structure, and side padding has been increased for more cushioning.
A rugged 1680D polyester shell offers rugged durability, and wide rubber feet provide impact protection when standing the bag on its end. There are also two adjustable neck rests with securing straps, providing excellent neck support for a variety of instrument types. In addition, the cushioned interior end guard is adjustable to accommodate instruments of different sizes.
CB-EG15 Electric Guitar Gig Bag
The CB-EG15 strikes the perfect balance between reduced weight and superior instrument protection. This deluxe bag features a black 600D polyester exterior shell that’s attractive and durable, and the internal padding depth is substantial without making the bag bulky. Like the CB-EG25, there are two adjustable neck rests with straps and an adjustable end guard to fit different-sized instruments.
CB-EB15 Bass Guitar Gig Bag
The first electric bass gig bag from BOSS offers the same deluxe design features as the CB-EG15 model in a larger configuration that fits a variety of popular electric basses.
CB-AG15 Acoustic Guitar Gig Bag
Designed to fit most common acoustic guitars, the CB-AG15 provides great instrument protection for acoustic players on the go. Internal padding has been increased throughout, and the black 600D polyester exterior shell is both attractive and durable. An integrated cushioned guard provides improved support for the guitar’s end pin area, while an adjustable neck rest with a strap keeps the instrument secure during transport.
CB-EG05 Electric Guitar Gig Bag
Ideal for players who like to travel light, the CB-EG05 updates the previous BOSS slimline guitar gig bag model with many useful feature enhancements. Rugged 400D polyester exterior materials surround internal padding, which has been increased on the sides and back. The handle design is inherited from the higher-end models in the current lineup, offering greater comfort and durability.
