Roland Corporation U.S. Self-Repair Program
Roland Corporation U.S. is in the process of developing a national Self-Repair Program for U.S. citizens. As a first step, we are pleased to offer a self-repair option that provides access to spare parts and documentation for users in states that have passed relevant right to repair acts.
The following states have passed right to repair acts that impact our products:
- New York — Products manufactured for the first time and first sold or used in New York on or after July 1, 2023
- Minnesota — Products sold on or after July 1, 2021
- California — Products manufactured for the first time, and first sold or used in California on or after July 1, 2021
- Colorado — Products manufactured for the first time and first sold or used in Colorado on or after July 1, 2021
- Oregon — Products manufactured for the first time and first sold or used in Oregon on or after July 1, 2015 and products sold or in use in Oregon on or after January 1, 2025
- Connecticut — Products first manufactured, sold, or used in Connecticut on or after July 1, 2026
- Texas — Products made available in Texas by original equipment manufacturer on or after September 1, 2026
- Washington — Products manufactured and first sold or used in Washington on or after July 1, 2021
Consumers who reside in these states and/or purchased Roland products manufactured or sold in these states may access self-repair resources, including spare parts and documentation, by making a request through our Backstage web portal (requires a free Roland Account).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Roland provides extensive coverage for Roland and BOSS products under its limited warranty. Roland is not responsible for any damage or injury caused to equipment, persons, or other properties due to repairs, diagnoses, maintenance, or modifications made by independent shops or device owners. Self-repair or independent shop repair work may damage a product and, if it does cause such damage, could void your warranty.
- Some Roland and BOSS products contain copyrighted content such as musical compositions, songs, tunes included and allowed only for usage in certain regions. Also, some products have wireless features like Bluetooth implemented that are allowed to be used exclusively in certain countries due to legal regulations. Roland is not responsible for any copyright infringement or wireless regulation violations that result from repairs, diagnoses, maintenance, or modifications made by independent shops or device owners.
- Roland and BOSS products are complex electronic products. If after consulting with one of our product experts Backstage it is determined that a repair may be required, we recommend that you contact your nearest Local Authorized Service Center or place a service request with our Los Angeles National Service Center:
