A conversation with the Black music community hosted by Eugene “Man Man” Roberts.
Roland echoes the call for change heard from every corner of the world, demanding equality, justice, fairness, and compassion.
Out of deep love and respect for the Black community, Roland gave our global platforms over to Eugene “Man Man” Roberts on June 5, 2020, to host an open conversation with the Black music community so that all could hear and learn from their stories.
This unfiltered discussion included over 30 artists, musicians, music industry reps, academics, and public servants, who shared their own personal stories, thoughts, and insights for an engaging five hours.
We appreciate and thank everyone who participated and took the time to share their personal experiences and perspectives on the realities and impact of racism. We listened with open ears and open hearts.
