Easily connect to your iPhone/iPad and improve the quality of your livestreams

When you livestream with your iPhone/iPad*, the biggest problem might be sound quality, even if the image quality is acceptable. With the R-07, you can begin livestreaming with clean, high-resolution audio in no time. Hybrid Limiting is also on board so you record your performance without worrying about distortion.

Scene function for quick setup in any situation

The R-07's Scene function helps you get setup to capture perfect audio in any situation. Whether it's playing instruments, singing, or recording a lecture or speech, the R-07 applies the ideal settings, regardless of location. You can also alter any of settings and save them for next time.

Self-contained and easy to carry

The R-07 is compact, light and portable. It can be used wirelessly, so you can use it anytime and anywhere you like.

It runs on batteries (AA×2) or USB bus power so you can livestream for many hours without worrying your smartphone's battery.

Basic Streaming Procedure

To use the R-07as a USB audio interface, you need to update the R-07 to the latest version (Ver.1.100).

  • 1. Connect the R-07 to your iPhone or iPad* and turn on the R-07's power.
  • 2. Press [MENU] to access the “Menu” screen and select “Audio I/F(iOS)”*.
  • 3. Press SCENE and select a select a choice best suited for your application.
  • 4. Prepare for streaming on a live streaming platform you use.
  • 5. Place the R-07 in the desired position.
  • 6. Start streaming.
  • *1 To connect, USB cable (micro-B type) and Apple Inc.'s Lightning to USB Camera Adapter are needed.

    *2 Be sure to select “Audio I/F(iOS)”. If you select “Audio I/F(PC)”, the system will not operate correctly.

Tips:

  • Set the R-07's sampling rate to “44.1 kHz” or “48.0 kHz” to match the sampling rate of your iPhone/iPad app.
  • When using the R-07 as a USB audio interface, files inside the R-07 cannot be played back. Nor is it possible to record into the R-07.
