Rolands anerkjente performance sampler SP-404 tar et spennende hopp på utviklingsstigen i form av den nye SP-404SX. Utover å være utstyrt med den oprinnelige modellens tidsbesparende og intuitive funksjoner, har den nye modellen forbedret lydkvalitet med 16-bits lineær sampling, forbedrede DSP effekter, trinnløs overgang mellom effekter, en mer allsidig pattern sequencer (med helt ny shuffle-funksjon) og enklere datahåndtering med SD minnekort. Den er et kreativitets-stimulerende verktøy for DJs, musikere, produsenter, og live-lydteknikere med behov for å trigge jingles og liknende.
