De DP-990 is de opvolger van de huidige DP-970. Hij beschikt over de nieuwste digitale pianofuncties en levert een verbeterde audiokwaliteit, maar hij behoudt het populaire design van zijn voorgangers. Dankzij deze verbeteringen staat de DP-990 op gelijke voet met de HP203, inclusief de USB host-functie. Behalve de populaire Medium Cherry-afwerking (MC) is dit instrument ook verkrijgbaar in een elegante glanzend zwarte uitvoering, Satin Black (SB).



Het 88-toetsen PHA II-klavier met drukpuntmechanisme is afgeleid van de HP203 en garandeert 100% speelcomfort. De pedalen hebben een 2-traps detectie en zijn zorgvuldig vervaardigd uit zachtglimmend metaal. Dit valt vooral op de Europese markt uitstekend in de smaak. De USB Host-poort biedt extra mogelijkheden voor de weergave van songs: Audiodata (wav-bestandsformaat) kunnen afgespeeld worden vanaf een USB-stick; of u kunt meespelen met audio CD\'s die u afspeelt op de optionele USB-CD drive.
