Lunar Piper
Iconic songwriter, producer, and performer Prince was backed by drummer Bobby Z. on the album Purple Rain from 1984. The powerful hybrid sound of the title track—recorded live on stage with a combination of electronic and acoustic drums—is faithfully recreated with this kit.
It’s Alright
Earth, Wind & Fire are masters of upbeat funk grooves. This kit is tuned for jamming with the track “Let’s Groove” from the band’s 1981 album Raise!
Godfather
Channel your inner “Funky Drummer” and lay it down with the kit sounds from James Brown’s classic 1970 soul track, played by the legendary Clyde Stubblefield.
Black Cats!
As drum intros go, there’s perhaps none more recognizable than Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition.” This kit perfectly captures the drum sound from the track, played by the artist himself on the 1972 album Talking Book.
