Siden 2003 har Rolands MV-8000 var et eftertragtet grundværktøj for mange af verdens dygtigste hip-hop og R&B producere. Med sine kraftige, håndgribelige features samt muligheden for at arbejde med VGA-skærm og mus, samlede MV-8000 det bedste fra både software- og hardware-baseret musikproduktion i én enhed. Synthesizer, sampler, indspilning, mix, mastering

MV-8800 er en fuldt udstyret sampler og synthesizer, hvis parametre kan redigeres og automatiseres med de programmerbare slidere og/eller med en VGA-skærm samt mus (VGA-skærm er ekstraustyr; mus medfølger). Den er også en avanceret multispors-optager med automatiseret 24-kanals stereomixer og effektprocessor i sværvægterklassen. Der er også indbygget mastering-værktøjer, bl.a. en parametrisk mastering EQ, enhancer, expander, multibånds-kompressor, mastering limiter, samt soft-clip algoritme med dithering på udgangen.

Indbygget lydbibliotek

Lav dine egne lyde, eller åbn op til 128 instrumenter eller trommesæt på én gang fra MV’ens eget lydbibliotek, som er præ-installeret på harddisken. Her ligger helt nye trommesæt, heriblandt en speciel samling bestående af 16 vintage-trommemaskiner som f.eks den legendariske Roland TR-808 og TR-909. Akustiske og elektriske klaverer, strygere, guitarer, blæsere, synth-basser og andre essentielle instrumenter følger også med.

Forbløffende styring af pitch og tid

Du kan åbne hundredevis af loops, hits eller vokal-samplinger på én gang ved hjælp af BPM matching i realtime. Du ”tapper” bare dit tempo ind, hvorefter alle samplinger indretter sig efter dit nye tempo! Og det er lige så let at matche tonehøjden i samplinger af melodi-fraser. Improvisér dine egne loop-baserede tracks, med alle elementer perfekt synkroniseret i både tempo og tonehøjde.

Vintage- og moderne effekter

MV-8800 har indbygget en fabelagtig samling effekter, både moderne og vintage, heriblandt modelleringer af klassiske Roland SRV-rumklange, SDD-320 Chorus, SBF-325 Flanger, BOSS-pedalerne BF-2 og HF-2, og den legendariske RE-201 Space Echo. Multieffekt-processoren i MV-8800 indeholder også en Analog Modeling Bass, som forvandler processoren til en virtuel bas-synthesizer. Alle justeringer, du foretager på dine multieffekt-parametre kan automatiseres, når du mixer.

    This drum kit is available for existing 8000 and 8800 owners and spans a range of musical styles from urban, R&B and electro house. The kit has a slighty gritty sound and a wider-than-normal range of sensitivity so you can experiment with changes in swing and volume.

  • MV-8800 Sounds: Percussion Loops and Phrases

    Recorded with the highest quality mics, preamps, and converters, this new audio phrase bank of percussion loops and phrases gives MV customers exactly what they’ve been asking for, another source of inspiration. The samples in Roland's new audio phrase bank come pre-looped and have the BPM calculated—so when MV-8800’s BPM Sync is engaged, the MV-8800’s realtime time stretching function will automatically make the loops synchronize with the current song’s tempo. This makes working with loops in the MV-8800 much easier than any other manufacturer’s hardware beat machine or production studio.
