Roland is pleased to announce that Manuele Barbini, CEO of Roland Americas Group, is now the Chief Executive Officer of Roland Canada. Brian Dupas, formerly CEO of Roland Canada, is now Chief Operations Officer, Roland Americas Group.

James Eastland, Director of Finance, Doug McGarry, VP Business Development and Pierre Circé, VP of Sales, are now overseeing the day-to-day operations of Roland Canada.

Other management-level changes include Lyle Crilly to the position of Sales Operations Manager, Danny Underwood to the position of Conversion Marketing Manager and Olivier Potvin to National Accounts Manager.

Manuele Barbini

Manuele Barbini is the new CEO of Roland Americas, which includes the following Sales Units - Roland Canada, Roland US, Roland Brazil, and Roland Mexico.”
Manuele is originally from Italy and has almost 25 years of experience with Roland. He is based out of the Roland US offices in Los Angeles, California. Manuele is now also the CEO of Roland Canada.

BRIAN DUPAS: Chief Operations Officer – Roland Americas Group (RAM)

Brian Dupas has served with Roland Canada for almost 38 years in many different roles most recently as President and CEO.
Brian has now moved to a new role of Chief Operation Officer of Roland Americas Group (RAM). This new role will encompass supply chain, market strategy, and long-term business planning.

PIERRE CIRCE: Vice President Sales – Roland Canada Ltd.

Pierre Circé

Pierre Circé began his long career with Roland in 1989 and over the past 33 years and has risen through several positions to become District Sales Manager, National Sales Manager and ultimately Vice President of Sales. Pierre oversees all of Roland Canada’s sales strategies and operations throughout the country.

For the past 20 years, Doug has been responsible for the development and implementation of many of Roland Canada’s innovative marketing and value-added programs directed at both dealers and consumers in the Canadian market.As VP of Business Development, Doug provides executive support for all of Roland Canada’s market activities and initiatives with a focus on supporting the expansion of traditional channels as well as developing new channels in the Canadian market.

JAMES EASTLAND: Director of Finance – Roland Canada Ltd.

James Eastland

James Eastland joined Roland in 2006 as a Customer Service Representative after graduating from university and working for a time in musical instruments retail. Before becoming Director of Finance in 2018, James held several positions at Roland including Finance & Operations Support, Assistant Controller, and Controller. These roles helped James gain a deep understanding of Roland’s business and provided him with many opportunities to apply what he learned while completing his accounting designation as a CPA, CGA. James currently oversees an accounting & finance team of eight staff, with significant contributions in the areas of Supply Chain, IT, HR, and Legal.

LYLE CRILLY: Sales Operations Manager – Roland Canada Ltd.

Lyle Crilly

With a career at Roland spanning over a decade, Lyle Crilly has worn many hats with the company, from sales to product management, and artist relations to content creation. Lyle welcomes his new role as Sales Operation Manager for Roland Canada. In this position, he will work with executive management in the areas of business development and data mining as well as assist the executive with the development, creation, and maintenance of all sales-related programs, customer research, and ROI analysis of new sales channels.

OLIVIER POTVIN: National Accounts Manager – Roland Canada Ltd.

Olivier Potvin

Following a successful career for many years in music retail, Olivier joined Roland in 2016 as a regional sales representative for eastern Quebec. In 2018, Olivier was promoted to District Sales Manager for Eastern Canada overseeing sales activities in Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Now into his 7th year with Roland, Olivier will move into the newly created role of National Accounts Manager where he will focus on effectively servicing and growing Roland’s larger accounts in the Canadian MI channel.

“I am looking forward to working with these established retailers across the country and bringing to them a new level of support to help grow their business with Roland.”

DANNY UNDERWOOD: Conversion Marketing Manager – Roland Canada Ltd.

Danny Underwood

Danny started with Roland Canada in 2018 as an Inside Sales Representative. With his deep knowledge of the market and products, Danny moved to the Product Management team representing BOSS Amplifiers, Effects, and Accessories. As Conversion Marketing Manager, Danny will manage all marketing activity at Roland Canada with an emphasis on increasing marketing support for the dealer network.
