Sales Representative – Roland & BOSS
Join Roland Canada and help grow two of the world’s leading music brands.
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to drive revenue and expand the presence of Roland and BOSS across an assigned territory - GTA & Western Ontario. This role is ideal for a passionate music professional with strong sales skills, deep product knowledge, and a talent for building lasting dealer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with music retailers, store owners, and buyers.
- Drive sales, achieve targets, and develop territory sales forecasts.
- Ensure strong in-store merchandising, inventory, and brand visibility.
- Train retail staff and conduct product demonstrations, workshops, clinics, and launches.
- Build relationships with local music schools, studios, creators, and musicians.
- Partner with Marketing on promotions, events, trade shows, and product launches.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback, providing regular performance updates.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of retail management or field sales experience, preferably in music or consumer technology.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with musical instruments and pro audio equipment such as keyboards, drums, effects, amplifiers, audio interfaces, or live sound. Video switching experience is an asset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory, including occasional weekends, as well as some national and international travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and POS/business systems.
- Valid driver’s licence and passport with the ability to travel to the U.S.
- Ability to work in Canada.
