Der XV-5050 ist ein preisgünstiges Soundmodul, basierend auf dem Studio Standard XV-5080. Speziell auf Computer-gesteuerte Recording-Systeme abgestimmt, bietet er digitale Kommunikationsmöglichkeiten wie USB und digitale Audioausgänge. Er besitzt eine 64-stimmige Klangerzeugung mit 4-Tone Multiplex-Synthese und leistungsfähigen Matrix-Control-Funktionen für ausdrucksvolles Spielen. Der Wellenform-Speicher lässt sich mit zwei zusätzlichen Expansion Boards der SRX-Serie auf 192 MB erweitern.

Im XV-5050 befindet sich die leistungsfähige Synthesizer-Architektur des Roland-Flaggschiffs XV 5080 - komplett mit vier Stereo Tones pro Patch und ausdrucksstarker Matrix Control. Alle Patches des XV-5080 plus einer Auswahl aus den Sounds des Fantom sowie viele völlig neue Patches stehen zur Verfügung.

Effekte in Studioqualität und Digitalausgänge

Zusätzlich zu seinen hervorragenden Sounds besitzt der XV-5050 drei unabhängige Effektprozessoren, so dass alle wichtigen Effekte, von 24-Bit Reverb bis hin zu Chorus sowie 90 Multieffekte inkl. COSM® Guitar Amp Modeling, in bester Qualität vorhanden sind. Mit 24-Bit-Wandlern sowie optischen und coaxialen Digitalausgängen (S/PDIF) wird Ihre Musik mit grösster Brillanz und Detailtreue zu Gehör gebracht.

Einfache USB-Verbindung

Wenn Sie mit einem Computer arbeiten, werden Sie den USB-Anschluss auf der Vorderseite des XV-5050 zu schätzen wissen. Laden Sie einfach den USB-Treiber von der mitgelieferten CD-ROM und ab sofort brauchen Sie keine MIDI-Kabel mehr. (Natürlich ist der XV-5050 trotzdem auch mit „normalen“ MIDI-Anschlüssen ausgestattet).

Ein "SRXpandables" Modul

Dank zweier Steckplätze für Expansion Boards der Roland SRX-Serie haben Sie die Möglichkeit, Ihren XV-5050 mit einer Riesenauswahl zusätzlicher Sounds der Extraklasse perfekt an Ihre musikalischen Bedürfnisse anzupassen. Jedes Board enthält 64MB neue Sounds und Patches und ist in Sekunden eingesetzt. Fünf Boards sind zur Zeit erhältlich, weitere sind in Vorbereitung. So wird Ihr XV-5050 für viele Jahre auf der Höhe der Zeit sein.

  • Important Note About USB Port

    This update must be done through the MIDI port of the XV-5050. You can NOT use the USB port of the XV-5050 to perform this update.

  • Clean-All USB Driver Utility

    This utility clears out all Roland USB Windows drivers and should be used if you are having difficulty installing your USB driver.

    Note: You will have to reinstall the drivers for any other Roland device that is using a USB connection for Audio or MIDI.
