This professionally curated pack features detailed reproductions of the drum sounds for five iconic rock songs. The module’s expansive onboard editing tools have been used to match the original recordings as closely as possible, including drum and cymbal selection, head types and tuning, overhead mic sounds, room characteristics, studio processing, and more. Modeled on the drums from “Paradise City,” as played by Steven Adler on Appetite for Destruction by Guns N’ Roses.

Wash Away
Recreates the sound of Matt Cameron’s drums on “Black Hole Sun” from Soundgarden’s Superunknown album.

Metal Helmet
Captures the drum sound on the track “Wilma’s Rainbow,” as played by John Stanier on the album Betty by the alternative metal band Helmet.

Out and Out
The distinctive dry drum sound from the progressive rock track “Roundabout” by Yes, as played by Bill Bruford on the 1971 album Fragile.

Jumping
Classic ’80s pop-metal drums, designed to sound like Alex Van Halen’s kit on “Jump” from the 1984 album by Van Halen.

Note: The kits in this collection have been created using the internal TD-17 instruments and editing tools combined with newly developed samples to reinforce certain drum sounds. Because the original recordings are not used within this collection, these kits should be considered as taking inspiration from the original sounds rather than being exact replicas.
