• VS-1880 System Update Version 1.50 (PC - SMF)

  
  
  This update adds compatibility with the VS8F-3 effects board. Once you have downloaded and extracted the contents of the .zip file, refer to the "README!! FIRST (VS8F-3 Basics).pdf" file for basic installation instructions.
  
  
  NOTE:
  If you do not have a software or hardware midi sequencer, you will need to obtain a midi interface for your computer and download the PC SMF Update Application in order to complete the update.
  

• VS-1880 System Update Version 1.50 (MAC - SMF)

  This update adds compatibility with the VS8F-3 effects board. Once you have downloaded and unstuffed the .SIT file, refer to the "README!! FIRST (VS8F-3 Basics).pdf" file for basic installation instructions.
  
  Note to Mac Users: You will need the UPD SMF Update Application if you do not have access to a sequencer program.

• VS-1880 System Update Version 1.015 (Mac -ZIP)

  This .hqx file contains a file to update the operating system of the VS-1880 from a Zip Disk. This update adds compatibility with the new VS-CDRII drive. Read the README.TXT file for installation instructions.

• VS-1880 System Update Version 1.015 (PC - ZIP)

  This compressed file contains a file to update the operating system of the VS-1880 from a Zip Disk. This update adds compatibility with the new VS-CDRII drive. Read the README.TXT file for installation instructions.

• VS-1880 System Update Version 1.015 (PC - SMF)

  This .zip file contains several .MID files to update the operating system of the VS-1880. This update adds compatibility with the new VS-CDRII drive. Read the README.TXT file for installation instructions.
  Note to PC Users: You will need the PC SMF Update Application if you do not have access to a sequencer program.

  This .sit file contains several .MID files to update the operating system of the VS-1880. This update adds compatibility with the new VS-CDRII drive. Refer to the "README!UPDATING VSLegacyOSMAC(smf).pdf" file for installation instructions.

• VS8F-3 Plug-Ins Legacy Update (PC/Mac)

  Here are the latest updates of all the VS Plug-Ins available for the Legacy VS recorders (VS-1680/1880/1824CD). This includes: T-Racks Mastering Plug-Ins, Antares Auto-Tune, McDSP Chrome Tone, TCR3000 Reverb, UA 1176 and LA-2A Compressors, and the Roland VS8F-3 Plug-in package. Please read the NOTE below, as well as the "README!!InstallingPlug-InUpdates.pdf" included in the download folder for the update instructions.
  
  NOTE: The update files that you download and save to your computer from the link above are enclosed in a compressed zip file. These files will need to be extracted from the zip file before you can burn them to a CD.
  You can do this by using the WinZip application on your PC running Windows XP, or by using Stuffit Expander on your Macintosh (needed for OS 10.2.x or below). If you're using Mac OS X 10.3.x or above, then you will not need Stuffit Expander.
  
  When you double-click on the downloaded file that you saved to your computer, WinZip or Stuffit Expander should startup automatically. If you do not have WinZip (PC) or Stuffit Expander (Mac) installed, then you must download it, install it, and extract/unzip the update files folder before you can complete the update procedure.
