Rich Piano Sound
The MP-70’s stereo-sampled piano perfectly captures the detailed
nuances of a grand piano – rich, dynamic piano tone, the sound of
hammers striking strings, and even sympathetic string resonance.
Reverb and chorus effects can be added to each of 15 tones with
a simple button-push, and a powerful new speaker system produces
gorgeous grand piano sound.
Natural Grand Piano Feel
The MP-70 incorporates Roland’s acclaimed Compact Progressive
Hammer-Action keyboard for the natural touch and playing performance
of an acoustic grand piano. The keyboard uses real hammers
rather than springs, providing a heavier touch in the lower
octaves that gets increasingly lighter in the upper range, and you
can also customize the touch to your liking with 4 levels of touch
sensitivity. Its pedals provide realistic response, allowing even the most subtle performance nuances to be expressed.
Advanced Practice Features
The MP-70’s new Twin Piano mode allows the keyboard to be split
into two zones, with notes of the same register in each zone – an
indispensable feature for student-teacher lessons. It also features a metronome and a 2-track recorder, allowing you to experience
piano lessons in a way possible only on digital pianos.
66 Piano Songs Built In
The internal songs are mainly classical pieces, and include compositions for listening enjoyment as well as for lessons.
