When the world’s top artists need a flash of magic, they send for Steven Weston. Raised in Portsmouth – where he cut his musical teeth as an organist – Steven went on to study music technology and production, before emerging onto the London music scene with an all-round skill set that lets him work as a keys man, music director, programmer and recording/mix engineer. Steven’s varied career to date has seen him work with a roll-call of big-name artists – from UNKLE and Alt-J to Will.I.Am and Rudimental – while his flexible Roland JUPITER-8 synth ensures that he’s always ready to slip his musical identity and dig out the sounds to suit the gig.
