Artist Bio
Nobody writes them like Roger Hodgson. As co-founder, frontman and chief composer of multi-platinum British prog legends Supertramp, the keys icon penned some of the most memorable hooks in classic rock, from Dreamer and Give A Little Bit to The Logical Song and Take The Long Way Home. Setting out as a solo artist in 1983, Roger still packs venues across the planet, and on his current Breakfast In America tour – named after Supertramp’s classic 20-million-selling album from 1979 – he relies on the Roland RD-2000 stage piano to recreate every last detail from the studio. In this exclusive behind-the-scenes video interview, Roger walks us through all his favourite RD-2000 features, from the responsive keys action to the tonal palette and the idiot-proof setup, wherever he finds himself in the world.
