TM-1 FAQ

Q:Is it possible to make it so that the settings do not change if I accidentally turn a knob while playing?

A:
Going to TM-1 Editor's SETUP - SYSTEM screen and setting "Knob Lock" to "ON" disables operation of the [ PITCH ], [ DECAY ], and [ LEVEL ] knobs.
* The [ SENS ] knob is excluded.

TM-1 Editor is available at TM-1 product information.

Q:Can I save the knob adjustments for individual kits?

A:
Yes.
In TM-1 Editor, at the SETUP - SYSTEM screen, set "Knob Setting" to "INDIVIDUAL."

The method of how to adjust the settings for PITCH, DECAY, and LEVEL for individual kits is covered in TM-1 Quick Start #7: Tips 2. View it as well.

Q:A trigger that I'm not hitting also responds.

A:
One possibility is incorrect sound production (crosstalk) due to external sound or vibration, which means that adjusting the SENS knob and the XTalk Cancel value is necessary.
* Adjusting XTalk Cancel requires TM-1 Editor.

The adjustment method is covered in TM-1 Quick Start #6: Tips 1. View it as well.

Q:Is loop playback possible?

A:
Yes.
At the EDIT - SAMPLE screen in TM-1 Editor, set "Play Type" for the trigger you want to use for loop playback to "LOOP ALT."

For instance, if TRIG 2 responds during playback of the instrument at TRIG 1, playback of the TRIG 1 instrument stops and the TRIG 2 instrument is played.
