*1: Recording might be monaural. If this happens, stereo recording can be accomplished by starting visual recording following the steps below.
  1. Make the connection between the iPhone or iPad and GO:MIXER PRO, then start the standard camera or the 4XCAMERA app.
    Make sure GO:MIXER PRO's POWER indicator is lit.
  2. Go back to the home screen on the iPhone or iPad.
    * When you go back to the home screen, the POWER indicator goes dark.
  3. Start the app again.
    Make sure GO:MIXER PRO's POWER indicator is lit.
  4. When visual recording starts, the audio is recorded in stereo.
*2: When a USB-C to headphone jack adapter is connected and a connection to the Smartphone IN/OUT jack is made using a stereo miniature phone cable, the volume level in visual recordings made using 4XCAMERA might sometimes be low. Also, noise sometimes occurs when the 4-pole cable included with the GO:MIXER PRO is used as a stereo miniature phone cable.

    Make the connection with GO:MIXER PRO before starting the application.
    If the application is started before making the connection with GO:MIXER PRO, right-channel audio is sometimes not recorded.
  • GarageBand for iOS app (set Input setting to 'Stereo')
    If you're using GarageBand for iOS, make the settings as follows.
    - Use "Audio Recorder."
    - Make the settings as follows.
    1. Set [LOOP BACK] switch to "OFF."
      * In this case, you can't use the [MONITOR OUT] knob to control the volume of the smartphone that's connected to the USB port.
    2. With the GO:MIXER PRO connected, select "Audio Recorder."
      If the message "Audio Device Connected" is displayed when the GO:MIXER PRO is connected, tap [Cancel].
    3. Tap the Input button.
    4. Tap [Channel] and set it to "Stereo."
    5. Set [Monitor] to "off."

  • iOS Music Memos app (set Input setting to 'Stereo')
    - Make the settings as follows.
    1. Tap the Input button.
    2. Tap [Channel] and set it to "Stereo."
    3. Set [Monitor] to "off."
    NOTE:
    When using the Roland GO:MIXER PRO with Music Memos, it is not possible to monitor existing tracks through GO:MIXER PRO while recording a new performance.
     
  • iOS FiLMic Plus (set Audio setting to 'Stereo')
    - Make the settings as follows.
    1. Tap the Setting button.
    2. Tap the Audio button.
    3. Tap [ > ] and set it to "Stereo."
