*1: The iOS Camera app does not run. This has been reported to Apple (November 9, 2017).

* Make and release the connection between the GO:MIXER and the smartphone only when the app you're using is not running. Connecting or disconnecting the GO:MIXER while the app is running can result in noise being recorded. If noise occurs, restart the smartphone. (July 1, 2019)

Apps
  • iOS app "4XCamera Maker"
  • iOS app "Beat Sync Maker"
  • iOS app "Virtual Stage Camera"
  • iOS Camera app (when using video mode)
Make the connection with GO:MIXER before starting the application.
If the application is started before making the connection with GO:MIXER, right-channel audio is sometimes not recorded.

    * When visual recording is done using the iOS Camera app under iOS 11.3, in rare cases, right-channel audio fails to be recorded. This is currently under investigation (April 24, 2018).

  • GarageBand for iOS app (set Input setting to 'Stereo')
If you're using GarageBand for iOS, make the settings as follows.

    3. Tap [Channel] and set it to "Stereo."
    4. Set [Monitor] to "off."

    NOTE:
When using the Roland GO:MIXER with Garage Band, it is not possible to monitor existing tracks through GO:MIXER while recording a new performance.
Performing recording using GO:MIXER while playing back a recorded track also records the "recorded track" to the recording track on the GO:MIXER.
    * When recording using GO:MIXER has been performed while playing back a recorded track, recording only the recording track on the GO:MIXER is not possible.

  • iOS Music Memos app (set Input setting to 'Stereo')
    - Make the settings as follows.
    1. Tap the Input button.
    2. Tap [Channel] and set it to "Stereo."
    3. Set [Monitor] to "off."
    NOTE:

    • In the ZOOM App, "Echo Cancellation" and the "Suppress Noise" settings are enabled by default. When broadcasting music, sound interference can produce audible wavering, so disable these settings.
Settings are found under both "App [Settings]" and "Meeting Screen [Settings]." Set both of these as shown below.
App [Settings] -> [Meetings] -> [Use Original Sound]
Meeting Screen [More] -> [Enable Original Sound]
