TD-07 System Program (Ver.2.00)

HOW TO FIND THE VERSION
Please check the version of the system working on your TD-07 before downloading the file.
  1. Press [ POWER button ] to turn on the power.
    After a short wait, [DRUM KIT] appears at the upper left on the screen.
  2. Press [ SETUP button ].
  3. Press [ LEFT button] or [ RIGHT button ] to select [VERSION], then press [ ENTER button ].
    The version information is displayed on the screen.
  4. Press and hold [ POWER button ] to turn off the power.

* If the latest version is displayed, you do not need to perform the update.

Additional Function

    「PD-10H」「PD-8H」
  • Added BLAST BEAST to Coach Mode.
    BLAST BEAST lets you strike the pads as hard and fast as possible within 10 seconds, and then check how much you played.

What you will need to update your TD-07
  • TD-07 Sound Module
  • AC adaptor (PSB-5U)
  • Computer (Windows or Mac) equipped with a USB port compliant with USB 2.0 or USB 3.0
  • USB cable
    * The update is carried out with the unit and the computer connected via USB.
    Provide a cable suitable for connection to the computer you're using.
  • Update Program
Caution when performing the update
  • Never apply this update data to any product other than the TD-07. This update data may destroy the data or system program of other products.
  • Do not disconnect the cable while the update is in progress!
    If a power failure or similar accident occurs during the update process, the TD-07 won’t be able to start up in normal operating mode. This will require servicing, so you will need to contact a Roland service center near you if this occurs.
  • We regret that we are unable to answer questions regarding the update procedure using this system program. Please perform the update responsibly, following the directions given in this document.
Getting the update file
Download the file named td07_sys_v200.zip to any folder.
The downloaded file is an archive in ZIP format. After downloading it, expand the file.
After expanding the file, the folder td07_sys_v200 holding the file TD07_UPA.BIN will appear.
Procedure for the update
Follow the procedure below to install the unarchived system program onto the TD-07.
* Do not disconnect the cable while the update operation is in progress.
  1. Hold down [ ENTER button ] and press [ POWER button ].
  2. When [Update] appears on the screen of the TD-07, release your finger.
  3. Connect the computer and TD-07 with the USB cable.
    Connect the cable to the USB COMPUTER connector of TD-07.
    [Copy files then disconnect USB.] is displayed on the screen.
  4. Open the [TD-07] drive on the computer.
  5. Copy (Drag & drop) the update program (TD07_UPA.BIN) in the td07_sys_v200 folder to the root folder of the TD-07 drive.
    * Do not copy td07_sys_v200 folder itself.
  6. When the copy is complete, eject the USB drive from the computer.
    [Windows] Right-click on TD-07 folder and eject it.
    [Mac] Drag the TD-07 icon to the trash box.
    * If the update starts automatically when you eject the drive, disconnect the cable after [update finished] appears on the screen.
  7. Disconnect the USB cable.
    Update starts automatically.
    * Do not turn off the power while updating.
    When [update finished.] is displayed, the update operation has finished.
  8. Press and hold [ POWER button ] to turn off the power.
