RSP-550: Connecting to a Guitar Amplifier

The RSP-550 can be used as a guitar effect processor with any guitar amplifier.
It can be connected as an insert effect or as a loop effect.

Use the following procedure to connect your RSP-550 as an insert effect:

1) Connect your guitar 1/4 cable into the INPUT -L- on the rear panel.
2) Use the LEVEL (dBm) switch to adjust the sensitivity of the input.
3) Connect the OUTPUT -L- to your guitar amplifier input.
4) Use the LEVEL (dBm) switch to adjust the sensitivity of the output.

Use the following procedure to connect your RSP-550 as a loop effect:

1) Connect your guitar 1/4 cable into the amplifier guitar input.
2) Connect the effect loop output of the amplifier to the INPUT -L- and -R-
of RSP-550.
3) Use the LEVEL (dBm) switch to adjust the sensitivity of the input.
4) Connect the OUTPUT of the RSP-550 to the effect return of the guitar
amplifier.
5) Use the LEVEL (dBm) switch to adjust the sensitivity of the output.

Now you can select the Patch suitable for the guitar part you want to play or
record.
