R-26: The Volume of Audio Files is Low

Low volume levels on audio files that were recorded on the R-26 are usually due to lower recording levels. In the R-26, look at the input level meter(s) while recording and be sure that the meter is averaging between 12 and 6.


  • If the volume is averaging below (to the left of) 12, raise the INPUT 1 or INPUT 2 knob to raise the volume while recording
