JV-30: Isolating Parts in the Left or Right Outputs
When isolating Patches in the left or right output using panning, it is common
to hear a portion of that Patch in both outputs even when the appropriate Part
is panned hard left or right. This is usually caused by the effects processors
which contain a stereo field that is independent of the Part settings. To
completely isolate a Patch in the left or right output, it is usually necessary
to disable any effects for that Part. Use the following procedure to turn off
the effects for a Part:
1) Use the PART LEFT/RIGHT (< and >) buttons to select the desired Part.
2) Press CHORUS and use the VALUE UP/DOWN buttons to set the value to "0."
3) Press CHORUS to exit.
4) Press REVERB and use the VALUE UP/DOWN buttons to set the value to "0."
5) Press REVERB to exit..
6) Press PAN/TUNE and use the VALUE UP/DOWN buttons to set the panning as
7) Press PAN/TUNE to exit.
