CE-20: Changing the Pedal Mode Settings

There are three different pedal settings that can be used for switching between the MANUAL/MEMORY modes and/or choosing patches 1-4.

PEDAL MODE 1: Each time the MANUAL MEMORY pedal is pressed, it selects and repeats in this order; MANUAL/MEMORY/1/2/3/4.

PEDAL MODE 2: Each time the MANUAL MEMORY pedal is pressed, it alternates between MANUAL and MEMORY mode.

PEDAL MODE 3: Each time the MANUAL MEMORY pedal is pressed, it alternates between MANUAL and MEMORY mode. Additionally, pressing both the MANUAL MEMORY pedal and the EFFECT ON/OFF pedal simultaneously allows you to switch and cycle through patches 1-4.

Use the following procedure to choose the pedal mode best suited for you:

1. Switch off the power.
* When using battery power: Disconnect the cable from the INPUT R(MONO) jack.
* When using an AC adaptor: Disconnect the plug from the AC IN jack.

2. While holding down the WRITE button and the SELECT button, switch on the power.
* When using battery power: Insert the cable into the INPUT R(MONO) jack.
* When using an AC adaptor: Insert the AC ADAPTOR plug into the AC IN jack.

3. Press the MEMORY SELECT button to set the desired pedal mode (1-3).
PEDAL MODE 1: MEMORY 1 indicator flashes.
PEDAL MODE 2: MEMORY 2 indicator flashes.
PEDAL MODE 3: MEMORY 3 indicator flashes.

4. Once you have made your selection, press the WRITE button. The setting is stored into memory.
