JD-800: Local Control Settings

Tags: jd-800
You can set the Local Control on the JD-800 to ON or OFF. It will enable or
disable the communication between the JD-800’s keys and its own sound source.
This function is especially useful in the sequencing process. Use the following
procedure to make Local Control settings:

1) Press MIDI.
2) Use PAGE Up and Down to select the Local Control display.
3) Use INC/YES and DEC/NO to set the Local Control to On or Off.
4) Press EXIT.

Now your JD-800 is ready to be used either for sequencing or performing.

NOTE: The JD-800’s Local Control defaults to On after the power is turned off.
