When using Aerophone AE-10 with batteries, please use Ni-Mh type, also known as AA (HR6) type (6pcs, approximately 7 hours).

Please note that the inscription on the AE-10 body incorrectly states the compatible battery information as follows: 

Incorrect: SIZE AA(R6/LR6) X 6
Correct: SIZE AA(HR6) X 6

While no permanent damage will occur, when the AE-10 is driven by R6/LR6 batteries, the built-in speaker may not work properly (playing loudly may generate undesirable noise including crackling).
