TEN (10) YEAR MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY ON ROLAND PREMIUM DIGITAL PIANOS
Effective 1st July 2025, Roland's GP, LX, HP, and Kiyola ranges of digital pianos will be covered by a Ten (10) Year Manufacturer's Warranty, protecting against failure from faulty workmanship.
Roland digital pianos are built to last. Our commitment to quality means that we are confident to guarantee your piano to be free from defects in workmanship or materials for a period of 10 years from the date of the original purchase. This warranty does not impact your legal rights under the Australian Consumer Guarantee.
General
(a) This warranty is offered free of charge by Roland Corporation Australia, with registered offices at 38 Campbell Avenue, Dee Why NSW 2099 Australia.
(b) This warranty is valid against any of the following ranges of Roland piano: GP, LX, HP and Kiyola purchased after 1st July 2025.
(c) This warranty is valid only for purchases made from an authorised dealer of Roland Corporation Australia. The warranty is not valid for products purchased outside of Australia or for products purchased from a dealer that is not accredited by Roland Corporation Australia. (d) Roland Corporation Australia warrants to customers who purchase a brand new Roland GP, LX, HP or Kiyola after 1st of July 2025 from an authorised Australian Roland distributor that it will be free of defects in workmanship and materials for the duration of Ten (10) years or otherwise as specified in writing by Roland Corporation at the time of sale. This warranty is supplementary to the Consumer Guarantee.
(e) Any brand new Roland Digital Piano or Keyboard purchased from an Authorised Australian distributor before 1st January 2011 is covered by statutory implied conditions and warranties under the Trade Practices Act 1974. Please click HERE for details.
(f) During the Ten (10) year manufacturer’s warranty period, Roland Corporation will repair or replace the Roland Digital Pianos or Keyboard which fail to operate as intended, where it is established that the failure is directly due to defective workmanship or materials as judged by an authorised Roland Service Agent within Australia. Manufacturer’s Warranty applies in addition to the Consumer Guarantee.
Transfer of Warranty
The Manufacturer’s Warranty may be transferred to a subsequent owner of a Roland Premium Digital Piano, provided that the new owner presents the original purchase receipt issued by an authorised Australian Roland distributor. Without the original purchase receipt, the Manufacturer’s Warranty cannot be transferred.
(g) Second-hand and ex demonstration products are not subject to this Manufacturer’s Warranty, but are instead covered by the Consumer Guarantee as long as the products are purchased from an authorised Australian Roland distributor.
(h) The Manufacturer’s Warranty does not apply to damage that occurred as a result of abuse or misuse, abnormal service or handling, battery leakage or failure, thunderstorm activity, liquid contact, fire, water, by insects or vermin, damage which may have been caused either directly or indirectly by another product, or if the product has been altered or modified in any way, or if the damage was caused by repairs or service provided or attempted by anyone other than Roland Technical Services or by an authorised Roland Service Agent within Australia.
HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM
To make a claim under this warranty, the customer must contact either the authorised Roland dealer from which the products were purchased or Roland Corporation Australia

The following information will be required with the customer’s warranty request: (1) date of purchase; (2) place of purchase; (3) full name; (4) shipping address; (5) phone number; (6) e-mail address; and (7) serial number; (8) item number(s); (9) proof of purchase. Warranty requests that do not include all of the required information may be declined or have a processing delay.
Upon receipt of the product, the warranty claim will be reviewed and the product will be inspected by Roland Technical Services or by an authorised Roland Service Agent. If the warranty claim is found to be valid, the product will be repaired and returned to the customer or a replacement product will be sent to the customer.
All expense of claiming the warranty (eg. shipping, handling, postage, insurance) will be borne by the customer making the claim.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
