HandSonic Artists
BRAD DUTZ
"The HandSonics sensitivity enables me to use several of my frame drum and tabla techniques. It has samples of many soft instruments that are difficult to mic live. It has made it possible to hear many exotic drums in a large concert hall. As a hand percussionist sometimes you just cant get to a stick or mallet in time so the Roland HandSonic has saved me on many gigs live gigs and recordings."

Brad Dutz has played on countless soundtracks for film and TV, and has amassed over 140 album credits. He has performed live with Airto, Frank Sinatra, Maynard Ferguson, Kenny Loggins, and many others. Brad remains active on the L.A. underground jazz scene. My rhythms come from the streets, from divine intervention, traditions, other musicians, the sky, everything, anything…. I performed in my first pro session on Stephanie Mills' "Whatcha Gonna Do With My Lovin'. I still have the gold record on my wall. When I wasn't in school, I would be in my room, playing along to the radio. After I learned the parts of my radio mentors, I created my own parts and patterns. As long as I'm playing, I am learning. I've grown up, yet I haven't changed. I will always be a student." Bashiri actively tours with Whitney Houston and other chart-topping artists.
