Q.Can I send a MIDI message to an XV series so that a Performance part will switch from Patch to Rhythm or vice-versa?

A.Yes, it's possible. The XV series can switch any Performance Part into a Rhythm Part or a Patch Part by sending correct Bank Select and Program Change values.
