64-Voice Synthesizer Module

Q.I cannot get enough Chorus (Delay) or Reverb sound in the Performance mode, even though I raise the send level of the Chorus (Delay) or the Reverb considerably. Why does this happen?

A.The XV series has a parameter to control the send level for the Chorus (Delay) or Reverb in both the Performance Part and the Patch / Rhythm Set. The send level of the Performance Part dominates that of the Patch / Rhythm Set. The final result is that the send level of the Patch or Rhythm Set is then multiplied by the send level of the Performance Part.

For example, if you raise the Reverb send level for a Patch in Patch Mode to a moderate level, that patch will display a moderate level of reverb when the Performance Part send level is turned up. When the Reverb send level for a Patch in Patch Mode is set to the minimum level, that patch will sound with no Reverb even when the Performance Part send level is turned up.

Change the send level of each Tone in the Patch, when you cannot get enough effect sound in the Performance mode.

Note: The use of the Multi Effect (MFX) has no influence on the send level of the Chorus (Delay) or the Reverb.
