Q.How can I edit the sounds, chorus, or reverb settings of the SMF file that I load with the VSC-88H3/VSC-88H3A/VSC-MP1 and convert it to a WAV file?

A.To edit a MIDI file within the VSC, use the following procedure.

  1. In the VSC panel, click the SETUP button, next click the Receive Events tab.
  2. Uncheck the events and parts that you want to edit on the VSC. (If you want to change sounds, uncheck Bank and Program.)
  3. Open the SMF data, and use the CONTROLLER panel to edit the sounds or effects.
  4. In the PLAYER panel, click the AUDIOCONV button, check "Convert with same settings as for playback," and save the data.
