Q.Is the VSC-MP1's sound generator same as that of the SC-88Pro?

A.The VSC-MP1 employs a SC-88Pro map-compatible sound set, but the actual performance will differ from the SC-88Pro because of the following differences.

  • Number of parts: The SC-88Pro has 32 parts, but the VSC-MP1 has 16.
  • Effects: The VSC-MP1 does not have an equalizer or insert effects.
  • Other small differences in the sound generator specifications.
