Q.What kind of effect is Speaker Modeling?

A.Speaker Modeling is a function that simulates the tonal characteristics of a number of different types of monitor speakers. This allows you to listen to your recorded song through a variety of "virtual" speakers while mixing, helping you to adjust track balances so that your song mix will sound great on any sound system it's played on.

Speaker Modeling provides simulations of many popular reference monitors, as well as simulations of television, radio, and boom-box speakers.

Note:
Speaker Modeling is designed to produce the most accurate speaker simulation results when you're using digitally connected Roland monitor speakers such as the DS-90A or DS-50A. Please be aware that Speaker Modeling may not produce the intended results when used with other types of speakers.
