Q.What kinds of sounds does the VP-550 provide?

A.

The VP-550 provides the following three sections for sound creation:


  • VOCAL DESIGNER
    This section models vocal sounds based on the input from a connected microphone and notes you play on the keyboard. You use the keyboard to specify the pitch of the notes, while you control the remaining elements of the sound (lyrics, volume, duration, articulation, expression) with your voice via the mic.

  • ENSEMBLE
    This section produces high-quality PCM sounds (digitally sampled sounds) according to your keyboard playing, just like a conventional synthesizer.

  • BASS & PERCUSSION
    When BASS & PERCUSSION is enabled, the 17 notes at the left end of the keyboard will play voice bass or voice percussion sounds.
