Q.Can I use the UA-4FX's Tube Simulator along with other UA-4FX effects?

A.No. The Tube Simulator is one of four different effects groups available on the UA-4FX. Only one effect group can be used at a time.

The Tube Simulator is a COSM effect that simulates the sound of a vacuum tube. A compressor effect is included as well. When the Tube Simulator is selected, the following sound parameters can be adjusted:

  • FAT&WARM
    Simulates the warm, fat sound that is typical of a vacuum tube.
  • BRIGHT
    Simulates a clear and bright vacuum tube sound.
  • COMP-THR
    Sets the level at which the compressor begins to operate.
  • COMP-LEVEL
    Sets the output level of the compressor.
