Q.Can I use the UA-101 as a stand alone A/D converter?

A.Yes, you can.

The UA-101’s direct monitor mixer outputs directly to the digital output jack (optical S/PDIF output) through the UA-101 PATCH BAY. This allows you to get digital audio output of the UA-101 in real time from all 8 analog inputs of the UA-101.
