Q.When I strike a pad, a pattern starts playing. How can I stop this from happening?

A.The Pad Pattern function allows you to start playback of a pattern by striking a pad. Some preset drum kits are set up with Pad Pattern turned on for one or more pads. If you don't want a pattern to play when you strike a pad, turn its Pad Pattern function OFF.

Note: To stop playback of a pattern that has started playing, press the [STOP] button on the panel.
* On the TD-8, press the [START/STOP] button.

If you don't want a pattern to play when you strike a pad, turn off the Pad Pattern function.
