Q.The VH-12 V-Hi-Hat connected to my TD-20 does not trigger properly. What do I need to adjust to fix this?

A.A simple offset adjustment is required to allow the VH-12 to function properly with the TD-20:

  1. Loosen the VH-12's clutch screw and allow the hi-hat to close naturally.
  2. On the TD-20, hold [KIT] and press [TRIGGER]. The offset adjustment is performed automatically in approximately three seconds. During the offset adjustment, the [TRIGGER] button will blink. After the offset is complete, the [TRIGGER] button will light solid.

CAUTION:
Do not touch the hi-hat or the pedal until the offset adjustment is complete.
