Q.Do I always have to perform the Shutdown operation on the SP-606 / SPD-S before turning off the power or removing the memory card?

A.Before powering-off or removing the memory card from the SP-606 or SPD-S, you must first perform the Shutdown operation in order to protect the internal and card data.

If you simply turn off the power without performing the Shutdown operation, the data in the internal memory or memory card may be damaged or lost.
