Q.I'd like to use the SP-606 as a USB MIDI interface so that I can record note data from my MIDI keyboard into MIDI sequencing software on my computer. What settings do I need to make on the SP-606?

After connecting the SP-606 to a computer via USB, make the following settings:

1. Set the SP-606's MIDI Utility parameter "Soft Thru" to ON.
2. In your MIDI sequencer software, disable the MIDI Thru function.

Caution regarding MIDI loops:
If the MIDI Thru setting of your MIDI sequencer software is ON, MIDI messages will create a feedback loop.
