Q.On the SP-404 / SP-303, I'd like to change the BPM of a sample while maintaining the original pitch. How much can I stretch or compress the sample length?

A.The SP-303 / SP-404’s Time Modify function allows you to change the BPM (tempo) of a sample without altering the pitch. The sample’s BPM can be adjusted over a range of one-half to approximately 1.3 times the original BPM. However, the BPM must stay within a range of 40-200.

Note:
Extreme alteration of a sample's BPM may cause sound deterioration or noise.
