Q.Can I temporarily stop and restart the rotation of the RT-20's rotary effect using the RT-20’s foot pedals?

A.The RT-20’s BRAKE function allows you to stop the motion of the rotary effect.

Simultaneously press both the left and right pedals to stop the motion.
(When BRAKE is activated, the SLOW/FAST indicators will blink rapidly.)



In the BRAKE state, pressing the right pedal or the left and right pedals simultaneously will revert to the previous state when you last activated BRAKE (slow or fast speed). The rotor always stops at the forward position.

  • If SLOW had been selected before you activated BRAKE, turning the SLOW SPEED knob triggers BRAKE status off, and the rotor will begin turning at the speed that the SLOW SPEED knob controls.
  • If FAST had been selected before you activated BRAKE, turning the FAST SPEED knob triggers BRAKE status off, and the rotor will begin turning at the speed that the FAST SPEED knob controls.
