RT-20

Rotary Ensemble

Q.What settings can I adjust on the RT-20’s rotary effect? How can I edit the settings?

A.The RT-20 allows you to adjust many different rotary speaker parameters. By adjusting these settings, you can create sounds that are not attainable with conventional rotary speakers.

  1. Adjusting the volume balance between the HORN rotor and BASS rotor
Use the BALANCE knob to adjust the volume balance between the HORN rotor and BASS rotor inside the rotary speaker.

  2. Adjusting the rotational speed of the rotor:
Using the SLOW SPEED and FAST SPEED knobs, you can adjust the slow and fast rotor speeds independently. When a knob is set to its center position, the original rotation speed of the selected rotary speaker mode will be applied.

  3. Adjusting the transition speed from SLOW to FAST and FAST to SLOW
The RT-20’s RISE TIME knob allows you to adjust the transition speed of the rotary speaker (slow to fast and fast to slow). Settings left of center will make the speed change more gradual, while settings right of center will make the change more rapid. If the knob is set to the center position, the original rate of the selected rotary speaker mode will be applied.

  4. Direct sound mixing
The DIRECT knob allows you to blend in the direct (un-effected) sound with the rotary speaker effect. (To reproduce the sound of a conventional rotary speaker, turn the DIRECT knob all the way to the left to eliminate the direct sound.)
