Q.Does the RMP-12 have enough tension on the head? Can you tension it as tight as you do in a normal acoustic marching snare?

A.Since the RMP-12 uses mesh head, the head cannot be tensioned as tight as a normal marching snare. Over-tensioning or over-loosening the head may ruin the performance of the RMP-12.
The head tension of the RMP-12 should be looser than normal marching snares. (The bundled DVD also explains in detail.)
