Q.Can a file recorded on the R-1 be divided in separate files afterward?

A.The R-1 itself it not able to divide a file after it has been recorded.

If you want to edit a recorded file, you will need to transfer it from the R-1 to your computer via USB, and use your DAW or audio editing software to edit it on your computer.
