Q.My Edirol PCR-series MIDI Keyboard Controller has a jack for connecting a foot pedal, and the owner's manual recommends using a Roland EV-5 Expression Pedal. Can I use the Roland EV-7 instead?

A.No. Due to its design, the Roland EV-7 will not produce full MIDI values (up to 127) when used with a PCR-series MIDI Keyboard Controller. The Roland EV-5 is the only pedal that should be used with PCR-series models that support the use of a foot pedal.
