Q.What are the main differences between the PCR-M30 / PCR-M50 / PCR-M80 and the PCR-30 / PCR-50 / PCR-80?

A.When compared to the PCR-30 / PCR-50 / PCR-80, the PCR-M30 / PCR-M50 / PCR-M80 have been improved in the following ways.

1. The PCR-M series uses a new keyboard. This improves playability, and reduces key noise while playing the keyboard.
2. Four new types of velocity curve are provided.
   In addition, you can switch between three levels (LIGHT, MEDIUM, HEAVY) for each of these velocity curves.
   Since this gives you a total of twelve types of velocity response, you can choose the velocity curve and level that's just right for your keyboard playing style.
   (The PCR-30 / PCR-50 / PCR-80 are not equipped with a touch level selection such as LIGHT, MEDIUM, and HEAVY and other velocity curve selection kind of things.)
   
   
   
3. A new fixed-velocity mode has been added. You can transmit a specific fixed velocity in the range of 1--127 regardless of your keyboard playing dynamics.
   (The Velocity Offset function of the PCR-30 / PCR-50 / PCR-80 has been eliminated.)
4. Similar to the assignable control of the PCR-30/50/80, you can now send keyboard performance data from the MIDI OUT connector while connected through USB.
   (Interface mode has been added)
