Q.In Mac OS X, how do I send the memory set to the PCR?

A.Use the following procedure to send the memory set.

Sending a memory set (SMF) to the PCR's current memory
1. Press the PCR's [EDIT] button.
   The display will indicate "EDT" (EDIT).
2. On the PCR's keyboard, press [BULK].
   The display will indicate "BLR" (BULK RX).
3. Verify that the indication in the PCR's display is correct, and press the [ENTER] button.
   The display will indicate "RS," and "S" will blink.
4. Verify that the indication in the PCR's display is correct, and press the [ENTER] button.
   The third digit of the display will blink, and the PCR will wait for bulk data to arrive.
5. Start up PCR Editor.
6. In [Options] menu - [MIDI] Devices, make the following settings.
   Input port: EDIROL PCR 2
   Output port: EDIROL PCR
7. Choose [File] menu - [Open], and select the SMF that you want to transmit.
8. Choose [Transmit] menu - [Transmit] to transmit the data.
9. When the PCR has finished receiving the bulk data, “END” will be displayed.
   The received memory set will be overwritten into current memory.
10. Press the [ENTER] button.
    The memory set has now been saved in the current memory.
    

Use the following procedure to save the memory set into user memory.

Saving the current memory into user memory


1. Press the PCR's [EDIT] button.
   The display will indicate "EDT."
2. On the PCR's keyboard, press [SAVE].
   The display will indicate "SAV."
3. Verify that the indication in the PCR's display is correct, and press the [ENTER] button.
4. Choose one of the memory numbers 1--F.
   The memory number you choose will blink in the display.
5. Verify that the number in the display is correct, and press the [ENTER] button.
   
   The memory set has now been saved in the PCR's user memory.
