Q.What can I do with the Juno-D’s D-Beam controller?

A.The JUNO-D’s D-Beam controller provides you with the following performance functions:

1. SOLO SYNTH
   This allows you to play the pitches of notes held on the keyboard by moving your hand vertically over the D-Beam. The speed with which you move your hand determines the speed of the performance.
2. ACTIVE EXPRESS
   This function allows you to control the loudness (expression) of a patch with the D-Beam. If the Active Expression Switch in a “dual“ type patch is set to ON, the D-Beam will control the volume balance of the two tones in the patch.
3. ASSIGNABLE
   With this setting, the D-Beam can control one of the parameters listed in the following table:

   LFO RATE	LFO rate of tones
   LFO DEPTH	LFO depth of tones
   LFO DELAY	LFO delay of tones
   CHO SEND LEVEL	Chorus send level
   REV SEND LEVEL	Reverb send level
   MFX PARAMETER1	The paramater for multi-effect control 1
   MFX PARAMETER2	The paramater for multi-effect control 2
   AFTERTOUCH	Transmits Channel Aftertouch
   BEND UP	Pitch Bend effect (from center to up)
   BEND DOWN	Pitch Bend effect (from center to down)
