Q.On the HPD-15, can I specify the MIDI note numbers transmitted and received by each pad?

A.Yes. The HPD-15 allows you to specify the MIDI note numbers that are transmitted and received by each pad, and to store these settings in a patch. (There can be only one note number assignment for each pad; it's not possible to set different note numbers for transmission and reception.)

Use the following procedure:

  1. Press [EDIT] twice to enter Edit mode.
  2. Press [PARAMETER] to access the Note Number setting screen ("Note No." is shown in the display).
  3. Strike a pad to select the pad you want to edit.
  4. Turn [PATCH/VALUE] to specify the desired note number.
  5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 to make note number settings for additional pads.
  6. Press [WRITE].
  7. Turn [PATCH/VALUE] to specify the patch you want to write the settings to.
  8. Press [WRITE] once again to complete the operation.
